Dr. Rebecca Rose, DVM, PhD, Diplomate ACVP
Dr. Rebecca Rose has been a board certified veterinary pathologist since 1991. She graduated from veterinary school (Kansas State University, ’81) and concurrently earned a master’s degree in veterinary pathology. She earned her PhD (Iowa State University, ’88) while working at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, Iowa.
After Iowa, Dr. Rose was a comparative pathologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Division of Comparative Medicine. She provided laboratory animal pathology services to MIT and several other Boston biomedical research institutions, and became board certified in 1991.
In the early 1990’s, Dr. Rose was an assistant professor of veterinary pathology at the University of Minnesota, and engaged with experimental medical device assessment in affiliation with the medical school.
She joined Medtronic in 1997 as a preclinical device pathologist.
Rose Pathology Services, PLLC, was founded in 2013.
Dr. Rose has served a range of companies, from Fortune 500 to CRO to start-ups.
